Mimi’s Gite is located on a bustling corner in L’Isle en Dodon; (about 50 miles southwest of Toulouse) a thriving farm village straddling the banks of the Save River and between rolling hills covered with forests and farm fields. The gite occupies one third of our 17th century house which was once a “relais de poste” for mail carriers and and an auberge for cattle buyers. One can walk to the village center in two minutes and find the butcher shops, bakeries, grocery store, pharmacists, bank and the post office. Three restaurants are also within a five minute walk. With a short drive several more restaurants are available, some we consider to be gourmet. You’ll also find several guide folders which we have compiled over the years to help you plan day-trips to interesting places not often mentioned in the published guidebooks. Doors open onto the street and into the garden and swimming pool area. Because we have only one gite and only one set of guests at a time, we can maintain the gite at a high standard and readily offer assistance to our guests. Whether you are a couple or a family of six, we are sure Mimi’s Gite will provide you with a great base to see and enjoy southwest France.
